Learn jiu-jitsu techniques with the professional coach

The art of jiu-jitsu is based on locking and grappling, it requires a quite aggressive approach and ground fighting skills. In a jiu-jitsu fight, the goal is to use power and technique to control your opponent, and this is often done by striking and applying pressure to your opponent's body or by applying different throws or locks.

There are a few most popular jiu-jitsu schools:

  • Japanese jiu-jitsu schools are ancient hand-to-hand combat techniques that help you fight one or more opponents, even if they are armed.
  • Brazilian jiu-jitsu schools are slightly more aggressive styles than the classic ones. Jiu-jitsu Brazilian focuses on wrestling, therefore it gained popularity in sports. Many current UFC champions are BJJ fighters;
  • Shorinji kan jiu-jitsu as a style was developed by  Matthew Komp Shihan as a jiu-jitsu self-defense technique for policemen;
  • Gracie jiu-jitsu was named by its founder Rorion Gracie, who opened the first Gracie Jiu-Jitsu school at the end of XX.

Nowadays the most common are Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques in spite of originally Jujutsu is an ancient martial art from Japan. Jiu-jitsu Japanese means weaponless hand-to-hand combat. It takes years to perfect the technique that makes it so popular.

The Jitsu martial arts foster discipline and learn not to use force unless it is absolutely necessary. There is a strict hierarchy of jiu-jitsu belt ranks that are different for children and adults. Jiu-jitsu for kids has 4 colors. In Jiu-jitsu classes for adults, there are 8 belts that show your level of skill, ranging from white, which is intended for beginner jiu-jitsu, to black, which indicates that you have achieved mastery.

There are also several higher levels when belts in jiu-jitsu have few colors (red/black belt, red/white/black, and red belt). Each of them shows that the master has reached a certain degree of perfection and can share wisdom with others. In fact, there are not so many people with the knowledge to teach it.

There are also certain principles of jiu-jitsu training:

  • Firstly, jiu-jitsu in Canada is a very complex and powerful form of martial art and if you don't know much about it, the concept isn't all that easy to comprehend. If you don't get jiu-jitsu basics, then you could end up with a martial art that won't work for you, or at least won't work well.
  • Secondly, you might only be taught the best jiu-jitsu techniques in the right order. If you just start jiu-jitsu, you'll find that some of the more advanced aspects of the art can be very difficult to learn and in some cases even impossible to understand without help.

However, with a good jujutsu coach on your side, you'll soon be able to pick up on the Brazilian jiu-jitsu basics.

Finding good training for jiujitsu

As in any martial arts, sparring is important here, so online jiu jitsu training for beginners is not something that suits. But you can try jiu-jitsu on your own to improve jiu-jitsu beginner moves. The importance of the jiu-jitsu trainer is that the technique will be explained in simple terms, you'll be able to grasp the basics much faster than before.

The very first thing that you need to learn when training jiu jitsu is how to defend yourself. Gracie jiu-jitsu schools will teach you basic moves like how to fall, roll, etc. And then a single hand parry, or a fist kick that is meant to stop the attacker and prepare to defend. It's a great way to defend yourself and is taught in most martial arts schools.

Once you've learned how to defend yourself, you can start learning about basic jiu-jitsu submissions and jiu jitsu takedowns. These are the types of things you can get in local jiu-jitsu classes but will also include things like grappling and throws.

Ahead of techniques, you will get jiu-jitsu weight classes. Once you have a little training under your belt, then you'll want to start thinking about going on to more advanced jujutsu training. This can be done by doing sparring and by using the basic jujutsu weapons - your body and strength.

A few other things will help you along the way and you will need to spend the time learning them. You'll find that you can learn much faster and with the help of a good jujutsu coach. To find the cheap jiu-jitsu classes you need, go to the Fee4Bee website. Here you will get a list of all the trainers and jiu-jitsu schools near you. Ask them the questions you are interested in to make an informed decision.

Jiu-jitsu strength training has to be difficult. But if you're willing to spend the time and effort required to do a little bit of work yourself, then you can become a great jujutsu fighter.

Jiu-jitsu training for beginners

If you're just starting out, you can search “Brazilian jiu-jitsu near me” or “Gracie jiu-jitsu near me” to make your research. This can help you to define the average cost of jiu-jitsu classes and find the closest jiu-jitsu dojo places.

There are a number of different styles of jujutsu and you'll find that there are plenty of different ways in which you can train. Take Brazilian jiu-jitsu lessons with an instructor or take a basic jiu-jitsu workout at a local studio to understand such activities are suitable for you. Or find jiu-jitsu online training where you can learn these basics from the comfort of your own home if you wish.

One great advantage of getting Brazilian jiu-jitsu training is that you'll have someone with whom you can communicate all of the problems and questions you have about your training and your techniques. This will help you figure out what's wrong and what needs to be done to improve your technique. But you can also try out some of the more advanced styles as well.

Advanced jiujitsu classes

If you decide to try out a more complicated form, you'll be able to contact a coach and get advice on the finer points and ways of fighting such as grappling and throws. A good jujitsu coach can also tell you how to protect yourself and how to do those things properly without injuring yourself during training at private jiu-jitsu lessons. If you're already a seasoned fighter, you can apply what you've already learned and get started improving yourself in real fights.
